Primero aprenderemos a decir que estamos aprendiendo caracteres chinos:

汉 =   Hàn  = refers to the Hàn people or the ethic group that the majority Chinese people belong

字  =  zì  = just means character

汉             字  = Chinese Characters

Hán   zì

我 = wŏ = i / me / my

在 = zài = (located) at / (to be) in / to exist / in the middle of doing sth / (indicating an action in progress)

学 = xué =  to learn / to study / to imitate / science / -ology

我             在        学         汉         字 = i am learning chinese characters

Wŏ    zài   xué   hàn   zì      

Como segundo punto aprenderemos 3 caracteres y los 3 primeros numeros:

1-      人 rén = man / person / people

 Examples:

     2-    从 = cóng =  from / via / passing through / through (a gap) / past / ever (followed by negative, meaning never) / (formerly pr. [zong4] and related to 縱|纵) to follow / to comply with / to obey / to join / to engage in / adopting some mode of action or attitude / follower / retainer / accessory / accomplice / related by common paternal grandfather or earlier ancestor / surname cong
